Heat oil in a pan add cinnamon stick, cloves, bay leaf, star anise and water if you are taking one cup rice then two cup water let it boil then add rice and when rice come to boil keep it in slow heat and close the lid after ten min you will see your pulav is ready. You can garnish with brown onions. adding garam masala gives your pulav a good essence.
If you add pudina leaves in boiling water take care of quantity . Coriander leaves for garnishing
