According to the US Centre for Disease Control, on an average our hair grows half an inch a month. 1) Onion Juice
Onion juice has been used since ages, and scientists believe that onion juice is highly effective for overall hair health. The reason for this is the presence of sulphur which helps to promote collagen production and the growth of new hair.
Method of use: Chop an onion, and squeeze out it’s juice. Now apply the juice on your scalp and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Let it work it’s magic and then wash your hair with a mild shampoo.

2) Egg Mask
This homemade recipe is being used the world over to enhance hair growth. It is universally known that eggs are a rich source of protein, sulphur, zinc, iron, selenium, phosphorus and iodine-all of which help to promote hair growth.
Method of use: Separate the egg white into a cup and add 1 tsp each of olive oil and honey. Now apply this mixture to the complete length of your hair and on the scalp. Leave it for 20 mins. Shampoo your hair with cold water.
3) Fenugreek (Methi Seeds)
Method of use: Mix 1 tsp of methi seeds with some water and grind it into a paste. Add 1 tsp of coconut oil to this paste and apply it on your hair and on your scalp. Let it sit for half an hour and then wash it off. Repeat twice a week to enjoy healthy and long hair.
4) Green Tea
Method of use: Apply lukewarm green tea onto your scalp. Leave it for 20 mins. Do so once a week till you get the desired results.
5) Cucumber Juice
Method of use: Wash your hair with cucumber juice to get thick, silky hair. You can also include the juice of cucumber, spinach, and carrots into your diet for beneficial results.
