Guava Cheese preparation time 20 mins cooking time 1 hour or more Ingredients Guavas - 800 grams Sugar - 550 grams Lime Juice - 1 tbsp Ghee - 1 tbsp Method Step 1.Take some fresh guavas, wash it cut the black part of it, Chop it into chunks. Boil the chunks with water and grind it to a fine puree. drain water. Step 2.Sieve the pure with muslin cloth remove all the seeds. Step 3.Take non stick pan add ghee and guava pure cook it. Keep stirring continuously either it will get burnt. Step 4.When the water evaporates from pure add the sugar and continue stirring lets mixture begins to thicken. Step 5.Add the lime juice and continue mixing so you will get a nice shine and the lime set the cheese. Step 6.Mixture comes to jam consistency still you have continue to cook till the mix comes together and get layer on top and starts to leave the edges of the pan. Step 7.Grease a tray with some oil and spread this mixture evenly. keep aside let it cool and set for a couple of hours before you slice it and enjoy.cut the Guava Cheese into squares or any other shape.
