Yup..they can be used when you are preparing pasta, soup or salad. You can preserve them by keeping in air tight containers. hope that helps.
These go really well in Chinese food as well..use just as you would use spring onions!
My favourite way to use them is to make a lovely celery pesto using toasted pine nuts, parmesan cheese and olive oil. They can also be added to vegetable stocks to enhance their flavour.
