Actually no..you can add some for flavour but can't use a lot as kasuri methi has a strong taste and fragrance which tastes bitter if used in excess.
I have used kasuri methi to make u methi. U boil some water n soak methi for 10 to 15 mnts. Add salt. Than drain the water n wash that methi wid cold water. And use tomato in sabji, it wl nt give that much bitter taste
Yes you can use it I have made aloo methi with kasoori methi many times it really tastes very well but use the less quantity of methi and soak it in warm water and squeeze it completely before adding to aloo
