सामग्री सर्विंग: 10

  1. Raw rice (kachcha chawal)- 3 cups
  2. Chutney dal - 1 cup
  3. Sabudana - 1/2 cup
  4. Jeera(cumin) - 2 tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Red Chillies (whole) - 4
  7. Butter - 1 to 1 1/2 tsp
  8. Asafoetida (hing) - 1/4 tsp

निर्देश

  1. Grind rice, chutney dal, sabudana , jeera, red chillies, hing and salt in a mixer grinder. Make sure its finely ground!
  2. Add water to make it into a semi solid mixture like puri dough and keep it ready
  3. Take oil in a deep pan and let it become hot
  4. Now release the mixture you HV taken in a mould, into the oil....
  5. Turn over whenever required till they become light brown in colour.
  6. Take them out of the pan in a plate with spread tissue paper. Though not much of oil is absorbed!
  7. Repeat step 4 onwards till the entire dough is used up!
  8. Your hot, crisp and spicy Jantikalu are ready!!
  9. Once they are cool, store them in air-tight containers . can be stored for more than 15 days!
  10. Can be had as Tea time snacks or just without any reason, when we feel hungry!! Enjoi:)
