Wash and soak the rice for 15-20 minutes. Bring abundant water to a boil and add the soaked rice in the boiling water. Add salt as well. Let the rice cook till they are done. You can check by pressing a grain on a hard surface. Drain all the water and let the boiled rice sit in a colander for sometime. I love adding ghee in boiled rice, you can do that too.
