ABOUT LOW AND LIGHT CHICKEN SHASHLIK RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boneless chicken pieces - 250 gm
  2. Curd - 1 cup
  3. Chopped diece bell peppers and green capsicum - 1 cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
  6. Ghee - 1 1/2 tablespoons
  7. Ginger and garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  8. Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  9. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. 250 GM BONELESS CHICKEN PIECES ,1CUP CURD , 1 TEASPOON CUMIN POWDER , 1 TEASPOON GARAM MASALA POWDER , 1 TEASPOON GINGER AND GARLIC PASTE , 1 TABLESPOONS KASHMIRI RED CHILLI POWDER , 1 TABLESPOONS GHEE , SALT TO TASTE , 1 CUP DIECE BELL PEPPERS AND CAPSICUM
  2. IN A BOWL ADD CHICKEN , CURD , GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  3. ADD ALL SPICES POWDER
  4. ADD CAPSICUM AND BELL PEPPERS
  5. MIX WELL
  6. ADD 1 TEASPOON GHEE MIX WELL AND MARINATE FOR 10 MINUTES .
  7. THREAD THE CHICKEN AND CAPSICUM
  8. THREAD THE CHICKEN PIECES ONTO THE SKEWERS , ALTERNATING THE MEAT WITH CHUNKS RED , YELLOW AND GREEN CAPSICUM
  9. HEAT REMAINING GHEE IN A PAN ADD CHICKEN SKEWERS
  10. FRY IT 15 MINUTES IN LOW MEDIUM HEAT
  11. TURN EVERY 5 MINUTES OR UNTIL COOKED THROUGH AND GOLDEN BROWN
