Chicken patyala with egg omelette

Ingredients to make Chicken patyala with egg omelette

  • Chicken small pieces- 150 gm
  • Tomato puree- ½ cup
  • ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder- 1/ 2 tsp
  • Oil-2 tbsp
  • Onion-1 large
  • Kashmiri chilly powder- 1 ½ tbsp
  • Garam masala powder- ½ tsp
  • Kasoori methi- ½ tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder- ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped-2 tbsp
  • Fresh cream-2 tbsp
  • Mozzarella cheese grated-1 tbsp (for garnishing)
  • Coriander leaves chopped-2 tbsp (for garnishing)
  • For making omelette:
  • Butter-1 tbsp
  • Eggs-1 large (or making omelette)
  • Coriander leaves chopped-1tbsp
  • Pepper powder- ½ tsp
  • Salt-to taste

How to make Chicken patyala with egg omelette

  1. Heat butter in a pan; mix egg with coriander leaves, salt and pepper.
  2. Add it in to the pan and make an omelette. Cut the omelette in to few pieces and keep it aside.
  3. Heat a pan with oil and splutter cumin seeds.
  4. Add onions thinly chopped and sauté until golden brown in color.
  5. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  6. Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, garam masala powder and salt. Add chicken pieces to it.
  7. Mix well and cover cooks it for about 15 minutes.(stir occasionally)
  8. Add tomato puree in to and cook for another 10 minutes.
  9. Add kasoori methi and fresh cream; mix well.
  10. Switch of the flame and mix it with the chopped omelette pieces.
  11. Add in to serving bowl and sprinkle coriander leaves and the grated mozzarella on top.
  12. Serve hot with your choice of roti.
