Malpua

Ingredients to make Malpua

  • Wholewheat flour (atta)- 1 cup/150 gm
  • Ground sugar ½ cup /100 gm
  • ghee 2 tbsp / 30 gm
  • Vegetable oil for shallow-frying
  • water to make batter

How to make Malpua

  1. Mix flour, sugar, and ghee with enough water to make the batter.
  2. Warm the oil in a flat non-stick pan on low flame. Spread the oil all round the pan.
  3. Pour a large spoonful of batter and spread it evenly; when one side is cooked turn over and cook the other side till brown and crisp. Repeat with the remaining batter.
