Soft Buns for Breakfast

Ingredients to make Soft Buns for Breakfast

  • maida 200 gms
  • 1 1/2 tsp yeast
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp Milk
  • 2 tsp butter
  • egg 1 (Optional)
  • Warm water as much as required.

How to make Soft Buns for Breakfast

  1. To make the yeast mixture:
  2. Mix yeast and sugar in a bowl with 3 tbsp of milk or water. Ensure you use warm milk or water.
  3. While making dough, add warm milk and knead it.
  4. To make the dough:
  5. To the Maida. Add salt, add yeast mixture it will become like bread crumbs. We have to make a dough and tuck it for 50 times and keep for 1 hour by covering it in a wet cloth.
  6. Make small balls. Keep it for 5 minutes, it becomes double the size.
  7. Add little butter on top and the base. Keep it in the oven at 225 degree centigrade for 12 to 15 minutes. Till it becomes slightly brown on top.

My Tip:

If you need a brown colour, use wheat flour.
