Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken medium size with bone 8 pieces.
  2. 2 onion thinly sliced
  3. 2 ripe tomatoes sliced
  4. Oil 3 tbsp
  5. Fried cashew to garnish
  6. 1/2 tesp turmeric powder
  7. 1 tesp red cilli powder
  8. 2 tesp coriander powder
  9. Salt as per taste.
  10. few curry leaves
  11. Chopped corriander leaves 2 tbsp
  12. Water 1 1/2 Cup
  13. Seasoning 1tesp fennel seeds
  14. Masala to grind
  15. 1" piece coconut 4, 2tesp black pepper,1"cinamom stick,4 cloves,2 cardamom,1" ginger piece,8 garlic pods, 1 tbsp oil.

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan add fennel seeds.Once it splutters add curry leaf and onion saute till light brown.
  2. Add tomatoes saute for 2 minutes.
  3. To it add chicken and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Now add turmeric,chilli powder, coriander powder and salt .Mix well add water cook the chicken.
  5. In a kadaii add 1 tbsp oil,add cinnamon,cloves,cardamom,pepper stir for a minute.Add chopped ginger,garlic and coconut,saute for 2 minutes.Remove once cool make a paste of it adding a little water.
  6. Once the chicken has cooked and come to a gravy consistency, add the paste stir,let boil for few minutes.Put off the flame,garnish with fried cashew and coriander leaves.Chicken chops is ready for rice or chapathi.
