ABOUT Gosht Ke Sukhe Kabab Ka Salan... (Sun dried kababs curry) RECIPE

A lovely easy peasy recipe that can be done in just a few minutes. It comes handy when you literally crack your brains as to what to cook for lunch or dinner guys. Whenever you wish to eat this curry, just fry some kababs, saute an onion with some common spices and add the kababs to it, simmer for a while and all done. It is as simple as that. Every Hyderabadi loves to eat this salan with the ever famous khatti dal. Give this a shot guys, iam damn sure you will love it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Sun dried mutton kababs 1 cup
  2. Oil to fry 1/2 cup
  3. Onions chopped 2
  4. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  6. Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  7. Coriander leaves chopped 1/4 cup
  8. Curry leaves for garnishing 7-8
  9. Green or red chillies small 2-3
  10. Oil 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. First of all, deep fry the sun dried kababs in half a cup of oil.
  2. Fry them for a minute or two turning them every now and then on a medium high heat.
  3. After 2 minutes, they are done.
  4. Set them aside.
  5. Meanwhile heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan.
  6. Add chopped onions and ginger garlic paste.
  7. Saute them until done.
  8. Add the rest of the spices and the fried kababs.
  9. Mix well and add about half a cup of water.
  10. Cover and simmer until the water dries up on a low heat.
  11. Garnish with coriander leaves and green chillies.
  12. Top with some curry leaves just before serving.
  13. Serve this hot with plain boiled rice and khatti dal.
