Ingredients to make Lahsuni murg

  • Whole chicken 1 kg washed and cut
  • 600 gm fresh tomato puree
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • Green chilli paste to taste
  • 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 5-6 whole black paper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon kasuri methi
  • 1 teaspoon tandoori paste
  • 2 table spoon tomato ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons oil

How to make Lahsuni murg

  1. Take a pot and add oil, let it get hot, add ginger garlic paste saute for 2 min, add cumin red chilli powder, turmeric, black paper, salt, ketchup and tomato puree, cook it for 5-7mins now add tandoori paste and chicken cover it, cook it for 20 min, remove the lid and slow cook for 25 min, while slow cooking add kasuri methi.
  2. Whn gravy gets thick switch off the gas and cover it, let rest for 10 mins. Serve hot with garma garam roti or tandoori Naan...enjoy
