- 3/ 4 cup - 95 gms mash dal / urad dal/ white lentils
- 1 onion medium size
- 1/2 inch ginger(optional)
- a generous pinch of baking soda
- chopped curry leaves ( optional)
- Chopped coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil to deep fry
How to make Medu vada
My Tip:Over years of cooking I have noticed that vada made from freshly grounded batter are hard from inside .so I prefer over night resting. Adding of onion, ginger, chopped, coriander leaves, curry leaves is up to you.
