Brinjal Bharta

Ingredients to make Brinjal Bharta

  • Brinjil 2
  • Whole dry red chilly 4 finely chopped
  • green chilly 2 finely chopped
  • coriander for garnishing
  • butter 1 tbsp
  • garlic 4 cloves finely chopped
  • ginger 1 inch finely chopped
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp

How to make Brinjal Bharta

  1. Roast the eggplant on the gas and keep aside for 5 minutes. When cool mash the eggplants.
  2. Now heat the butter in a pan and roast garlic and ginger till it become light golden.
  3. Add red and green chilli and saute it for 2 minutes
  4. Now add mashed eggplant and mix well and now add the lemon juice and salt.
  5. Cook for 5 minute more and garnish with coriander leaves serve hot

My Tip:

You can also add chopped onion.
