Butter Murukku

Ingredients to make Butter Murukku

  • 3 cup rice flour
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger chilly paste
  • 1 stick or 50 gm. butter
  • 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds white or black
  • salt as per taste
  • besan 1/4cup
  • water as need to daugh
  • 2 pinch hing
  • oil for frying

How to make Butter Murukku

  1. Take rice flour, add hing, salt, sesame seeds, butter, hing, ginger, chilly paste haldi and add water slowly as needed to make dough.
  2. Heat oil in a pan take mould and put star nozzle
  3. Take perchament paper, put dough in Murukku maker and press. Fry it till golden brown in color or it comes up on oil take out it on paper towel. Let it cool and keep it in airtight container. Enjoy it with ginger tea..

My Tip:

You can use oil instead of butter but butter gives nice flavor and softness. If you don't want to make spicy skip ginger chilly paste..
