Paratha style tacos stuffed with paneer tikka masala served with onion rings and mint chutney. A delicious fusion recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4
For dough: 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup wheat flour
1/2 salt
1 tsp oil
Water as required
For filling: (Marination)
1/4 cup thick yogurt
2 tbsp roasted gram flour /besan
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp tandoori masala
1/4 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste
Other ingredients: 1 cup tomato puree
1/2 cup cooked onion paste
1-2 green chillies
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp coriander powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp fresh cream
1 onion cut in cubes
1 capsicum cut in small cubes
Oil for cooking
250 grams cottage cheese/ paneer
Instructions
In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients of the marination, mix well.
Next add paneer cubes, onion & capsicum mix well with the marination. Cover and refrigerate for 20 mins.
Heat oil in a grill pan and cook the paneer cubes from all sides till nice golden brown in colour and keep aside.
For Dough: In a mixing bowl take all the ingredients of the dough and knead a soft dough.
Cover the dough and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste cook till the raw smell goes.
Add the brown onion mixture(paste) & cook for 2 mins.
Next add tomato puree and let it cook for 5-6 mins on medium flame or till the oil starts leaving sides.
Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 mins.
Once done add the fried paneer cubes, fresh cream mix well with masala garnish with chopped coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
Take the dough and divide it into 4 equal parts.
Dust the surface with flour and roll out the dough into taco size with the help of rolling pin.
Heat a tawa, apply some ghee/oil and cook the paratha nicely from both the sides.
Assembling: Add 2-3 tbps of the paneer tikka masala on one side of the paratha along with some onion rings, chopped tomatoes and some fresh mint chutney. Fold the taco paratha and Serve hot!
