ABOUT Paneer tikka pizza RECIPE

This is a.fusion recipe with power packed protein in the form of paneer

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For paneer tikka
  2. 250 gms paneer cut in cubes
  3. 1/2 each Red and green capsicum cut in cubes
  4. 1 onion cut in cubes
  5. 2 tbsp hung curd
  6. 1 tbsp fresh cream
  7. Salt and pepper to taste
  8. 1/2 tsp kasoori methi.powder
  9. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  10. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  11. For pizza base
  12. 2 cup Maida
  13. 1 tsp instant yeast
  14. 1/2 tsp salt
  15. 1 tsp sugar
  16. For pizza sauce
  17. 1 tsp olive oil
  18. 1 tbsp butter
  19. 1 tsp chopped garlic
  20. 1.tsp.chopped onion
  21. 1 cup homemade tomato.puree
  22. 1/2 cup.store bought tomato puree
  23. 1 tbsp dried herbs or fresh herb if available
  24. 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  25. Salt n pepper to taste
  26. 1 tsp sugar
  27. Other ingredients
  28. 1 cup grated mozrella cheese
  29. 1 tsp dried herbs
  30. 1 tsp chilli flakes

Instructions

  1. For paneer tikka marination
  2. In a bowl mix all the ingredients of marination except paneer,onion and capsicum cubes.
  3. After mixing everything add paneer. Onion and capsicum cubes and keep it aside.
  4. For pizza base
  5. In half cup warm water add yeast and sugar and keep.in warm place till it becomes frothy.
  6. In a bowl add flour and salt and mix well.
  7. Add frothy mixture to flour and mix well.
  8. Knead it by adding more water till it becomes smooth.
  9. Keep dough in a greased bowl covered with wet muslin cloth at warm place.
  10. Let it rise till it becomes double .
  11. For pizza sauce In a sauce pan add oil and butter.
  12. To this add chopped onion and garlic and saute.
  13. Now add both tomato puree,Salt, pepper sugar and herbs
  14. Cook on low flame for 20 mins .
  15. For pizza
  16. Knock pizza dough which has risen on worktop to remove all air.
  17. Divide in 2 parts
  18. Roll with rolling pin.
  19. Prick with fork to prevent puffing up .
  20. Spread pizza sauce on rolled pizza dough.
  21. Then add grated mozrella cheese.
  22. Next spread marinated paneer tikka .
  23. Sprinkle some dried herbs and chilli flakes.
  24. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degree for 15-18 mins.
  25. Cut slices with pizza cutter and serve.
