Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. green tomato 1kg
  2. gram flour 2tbsp
  3. salt to taste +1/2tsp
  4. coriander powder 1tbsp
  5. red chilli powder 2tsp
  6. garam masala 1/2tsp
  7. ginger garlic paste 2tbsp
  8. onion paste 2tbsp
  9. oil for frying + for gravy
  10. cumin seeds 1tsp
  11. methi dana 1/2 tsp
  12. a pinch of heeng
  13. bread crumbs 1tbsp
  14. coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. wash and grate the tomatoes and drain the grated tomato ,and keep aside the drained tomato juice
  2. heat 1tsp oil in a pan crackle the cumin seeds and add grated tomato,stir continuously.
  3. now add heeng,1/2tsp salt,1tbsp ginger.garlic paste and gram flour and cook it for 5 to 8 minute
  4. cool it ,add bread crumbs and make the kofta and fry till it become golden
  5. now add more oil in remaining oil add methi dana ,ginger,garlic paste saute it .
  6. add onion paste and cook it .
  7. add dry ingredients and remaining tomato juice .
  8. add 2 cup of water and boil the gravy 5 minute ,add kofta and cook again for 5 minute with lid on sim .
  9. garnish with coriander and serve with rice,roti or nan
