Lettuce Salad with pears

Ingredients to make Lettuce Salad with pears

  • 2 cups torn green lettuce leafs
  • 1 pear
  • 1/4 cup chopped red cabbage
  • 2 garlic cloves smashed
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp black salt or as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds

How to make Lettuce Salad with pears

  1. Prepare the vinaigrette or the salad dressing. Mix honey, lemon juice, olive oil. Add chopped/grated garlic along with red pepper into it. Add black salt and celery salt. Keep it aside.
  2. Add the torn lettuce leafs in a salad bowl. Add chopped cabbage. Cut and chop pears into bite size pieces. Add the chopped pear into the bowl.
  3. Add the vinaigrette into the salad bowl. Mix it evenly with a spoon.
  4. Add chopped walnuts into the salad bowl.
  5. Lightly toast sesame seeds and sprinkle it over the green lettuce leaf salad.
  6. Keep the salad bowl in fridge for atleast 30 minutes and then serve.
