ABOUT Tomato Oats Chilla RECIPE

Healthy oats with the tang of tomatoes makes this a yummy snack for fussy toddlers.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup powdered oats
  2. 1 tbs tomato ketchup
  3. 1 tbs finely chopped onions
  4. 1 tbs finely chopped tomatoes
  5. 1/4 tsp garam / chicken / kitchen king masala
  6. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix together the powdered oats, garam masala, tomato ketchup and salt.
  2. Add a little water and make a batter of pouring consistency. Add the chopped onions and tomatoes and mix.
  3. Rest the batter for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat a non stick pan and grease with a little butter or ghee.
  5. Pour a ladle full of batter and spread it. Cover and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
  6. Flip over and let it cook for another minute.
  7. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
