I prepare this dish to go along with my dinner and lunch. It is light and very good. It serves as a dessert and is very satisfying.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 cups torn green lettuce leafs
  2. 1 apple
  3. 1/4 cup chopped red cabbage
  4. 2 lightly roasted mini sweet peppers
  5. 1/2 cucumber chopped
  6. 2 garlic cloves smashed
  7. 1 tsp honey
  8. 1 tsp balsamic vinegar or lemon juice
  9. 1 tsp olive oil
  10. 1/2 tsp black salt or as per taste
  11. 1/2 tsp celery salt
  12. 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vinaigrette or the salad dressing. Mix honey, lemon juice or balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Add chopped/grated garlic and Dijon mustard into it. Add black salt and celery salt. Keep it aside.
  2. Add the torn lettuce leaves in a salad bowl. Add chopped red cabbage and roasted mini sweet peppers. Add chopped cucumber. Cut and chop apples into bite size pieces. Add the chopped apple into the bowl.
  3. Add the vinaigrette into the salad bowl. Mix it evenly with a spoon.
  4. Keep the salad bowl in fridge for atleast 30 minutes and then serve.
