ABOUT Ragi Biscuits RECIPE

These are healthy tea biscuits made with Ragi.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup ragi flour
  2. 1tbsp all purpose flour
  3. 1 tbsp cocoa
  4. 1 tbsp corn flour
  5. 1 tesp baking powder
  6. 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  7. 6 tbsp cold butter
  8. 1 tesp vanilla
  9. Water 1 or 2 tbsp to knead

Instructions

  1. Dry roast ragi for 2 to 3 minutes
  2. Cool seive it along with all purpose flour, baking powder ,corn flour and cocoa powder
  3. Mix it in a bowl along with brown sugar,vanilla and cold butter.Knead to a soft dough
  4. Cover with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 minutes
  5. Preheat oven 180℃ for 10 minutes
  6. Remove the dough roll between parchment paper and shape with cookie cutter,place on lined tray.
  7. Bake at 170℃ for 15 to 18 minutes
  8. Ragi biscuits are ready.Can be stored in an air tight container for 4 to 5 days.
