ABOUT Paneer Aloo tikki RECIPE

This recipe is so yummy and easy that I promise you can't stop eating.These tikkis can be made in minutes if you boil the potatoes first. Goes well with chutneys and yogurt dip.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup boiled potatoes
  2. 1/2 cup grated paneer
  3. 1 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  4. 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  5. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 1 tsp amchur powder
  7. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  8. Few cashews halves
  9. 1 tbsp cornflour
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl - mix together potato, sesame seeds, paneer, cumin seeds, corn flour, red chilly flakes, coriander leaves and salt. Mix them gently and make a dough.
  2. Take some oil in your hands and make small balls from the dough. Press these balls gently and make small discs. Take half cashews and put them in the center and press gently. Once all the cutlets are ready, again take some oil in your hands and smoothen the cultlets from all the sides.
  3. Now heat the oil on medium heat and deep try these aloo tikkis, till they are golden and crispy from both the sides. Enjoy these paneer aloo tikki with tomato ketchup, coriander chuney or your favorite dip.
