Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fine Banarsi sevai 1 cup
  2. Khoya 1 cup
  3. Milk 1 cup
  4. Water 1 cup
  5. Sugar 1/2 cup
  6. Pure ghee 1/2 cup (you can use up to 1 cup too)
  7. Makhana 1/4 cup
  8. Sliced nuts 3 to 4 tbsp
  9. Rasins 1/3 cup

Instructions

  1. Keep the Ingridents ready
  2. Take a pot and mix the sugar ,water,milk and khoya and prepare a thick chashni
  3. Let this boil to almost half or thick consistency
  4. In another pan add the ghee and add the makhana and fry
  5. Add the sliced nuts and the raisins and fry them too
  6. Add the sevai in the same pot and fry it till dark golden.Do not burn it
  7. Add the chashni that we prepared
  8. Cover and cook till the chashni dries
  9. After 10 mins open the lid and sprinkle elachi pwdr
  10. Serve hot garnished with nuts and gold/silver foil
