Green Chilli Pickle

Ingredients to make Green Chilli Pickle

  • 300g Green Chillies
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Methi seeds
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp Hing

How to make Green Chilli Pickle

  1. Wash chillies properly and dry them. Cut in length wise or side wise.
  2. Heat a pan, dry roast jeera seeds and methi seeds. Add hing to it, stir for 1 minute.
  3. Add turmeric, powder, garam masala and salt to the powder to make a spice powder.
  4. Add the lemon juice to the spice powder.
  5. In a bowl, fill the chillies with this spice powder and rub the leftover to coat well.
  6. Cover with a cloth and leave for 4 days.
  7. Place it near a window for a week or two and enjoy.
