Oats idli

Ingredients to make Oats idli

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup suji
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1 tsp ginger greenchilli paste
  • 1/2 cup mix vegetable chopped
  • salt acc to taste
  • For tempering
  • 1/2 tsp rai
  • 1/2 tsp urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp chana dal
  • curry leaves

How to make Oats idli

  1. In a nonstick pan, roast oats and suji together without oil. Grind and keep it aside. In the same pan heat 3 - 4 drop oil.
  2. Splutter rai and curry leaves. Then saute ginger green chilli paste.
  3. Boil mix vegetables and add to the pan. Mix oats, suji, curd, salt and make smooth batter with the help of little water.
  4. Put it in greased idli stand and steam it for 10 min. Serve hot with your favourite sauce.

My Tip:

Let it cool for 5 minutes before taking out the idlis.
