  12. 2 onion
  13. 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  14. 1 1/2 tsp redchilli powder

  16. 1 tsp coriander powder
  17. coriander leaves
  18. OTHER INGREDIENTS
  19. 2 egg
  20. salt n pepper
  21. ghee

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder ,pepper powder, soya sauce and salt and pressure cook it. Then shred the chicken pieces
  2. In a pan add oil , chopped onions and saute until it is soft not browned then add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell is gone then add all the powders , shreded chicken ,then finally ad coriander leaves ..add salt according to taste.. and keep it
  3. Make the batter for the pancakes by mixing all the ingredients in a blender or whisking until you get a lump free batter.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan/tawa and pour the batter to make a thin dosa like pancake to fit the size of the saucepan(that you will be using for assembling). It can be slightly bigger than the saucepan but dnt make it smaller than the saucepan.
  5. Cook both sides and stack them in a plate making sure it doesn't stick together.
  6. ASSEMBLY:
  7. Grease all sides of an saucepan with about 2 tblsp oil/ghee
  8. Beat 3 eggs with little salt and then take a pancake and place it in the oiled saucepan and then spread a tbsp of beaten egg then chicken filling over the pancake. Then keep another pancake spread egg and chicken mixture.
  9. Continue to make layers till all the chicken filling has been used up and complete the top with a pancake and pour the rest of the egg over the top of the layers.
  10. Close the saucepan with a close fitting lid so that steam won't escape while cooking. You can cover/seal with aluminium foil as an extra precaution.
  11. Put the saucepan on a very low flame and cook for about 15-20 minutes till the sides of pancake remove from the pan and it slightly shrinks in size. or u can keep the saucepan on top an another ( grill )pan and cook so we dont need to be worried that it get burned at bottom.
  12. Then invert it and cook for 5 more mins.
  13. After it slightly cools but is still warm, run a knife through the sides to ensure it doesn't stick to the sides and carefully invert onto the serving dish. Serve chatti pathiri warm .
