Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Basmati Rice 750 gm
  2. 6 table spoon Ghee
  3. 1/2 teaspoon cashew
  4. 1/2 teaspoon raisin
  5. 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  6. 2 Table spoon garam masala (Clove,Cinamon)
  7. 1 Bay leaf
  8. 5 table spoon sugar
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 5 table spoon turmeric powder
  11. 2 Table spoon cumin powder
  12. 2 Table spoon garam masala powder
  13. 2 Table spoon ginger paste
  14. 4 Glass water

Instructions

  1. TAKE BOILED 750 GM BASMATI RICE, ADD 4 TABLE SPOON GHEE, 2 TABLE SPOON GARAM MASALA POWDER.
  2. SPRINKLE 3 TABLE SPOON TURMERIC POWDER, 2 TABLE SPOON CUMIN POWDER
  3. ADD 3 TABLE SPOON SALT.MIX WELL WHOLE MIXTURE.
  4. 1/2TSPCASHEW, RAISIN,CARDAMOM,5TBSPTURMERIC PWDR,5TBSPSUGAR,SALT TASTE,GARAM MASLA,BAYLF,GINGERPASTE
  5. MIX WELL THE MIXTURE WITH RICE AND MARINATE FOR AT LEAST 30 MINS.COVER THE PAN WITH A LID.
  6. ADD 2 TABLE SPOON GHEE.
  7. FRY 1/2 TEASPOON CASHEW, RAISIN. FRY FOR AT LEAST 5 MINS UNTILL IT TURNS INTO GOLDEN BROWN.
  8. KEPT ASIDE FRIED CASHEW AND RAISIN.
  9. NOW ADD BAY LEAF.
  10. ADD ALL THE GARAM MASALA (CLOVE, CINNAMON) AND 1/2 TEASPOON CARDAMOM. FRY WELL.
  11. NOW ADD 2 TABLE SPOON GINGER PASTE.
  12. ADD 2 TABLE SPOON TURMERIC POWDER, 5 TABLE SPOON SUGAR, SALT TO TASTE
  13. AFTER THE MIXTURE ADD FRIED CASHEW AND RAISIN. MIX WELL FOR 10 MINS.
  14. NOW ADD MARINATED BASMATI RICE. MIX WELL.
  15. ADD 4 GLASS WATER. STIRRED CONTINUOUSLY FOR 5 MINS. COVER THE PAN.
  16. COVER THE PAN FOR 20 MINS TO BOIL. CHECK ONCE TO CONFIRM THAT BOILED OR NOT.
  17. NOW IT TIME TO SERVE BASANTI PULAO WITH CHICKEN KASHA
