ABOUT Veggie Burger RECIPE

It is very rare one who dose not like burger. We all love burger. Specially it is one of the kids favourite food. It is a wonderful burger. It looks tempting and its taste is also yammy. So all of you must try it in your home. The family members specially kids enjoy with this food very much.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 medium size boiled and peeled potato
  2. 1 small size boiled carrot
  3. 1 small size boiled beetroot
  4. 5 boiled french beans
  5. 50 grams boiled cauliflower
  6. 2 tbsp cornflour
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 6 tbsp semolina (rawa/ suji)
  9. 4 buns
  10. 1 tbsp finely chopped onion
  11. 1 tsp finely chopped garlic
  12. 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
  13. 1 tsp finely chopped green chilli
  14. 4 tbsp eggless mayonnaise
  15. 1 cucumber roundly sliced
  16. 1 onion roundly sliced
  17. 2 lettuce leaves
  18. 4 tsp melted butter
  19. 4 tsp tomato sauce
  20. 200 grams refined oil
  21. 4 toothpicks

Instructions

  1. To make cutlet, at first smash the boiled vegetables till it becomes smooth and paste like.
  2. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan and add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies.
  3. Fry till light brown.
  4. Add the smashed vegetables and mix in a low heat.
  5. Add cornflour and mix well.
  6. Off the gas and allow the mixture to cool.
  7. After cooling, make 4 patties and coat it with semolina.
  8. Heat oil in a deep fry pan on high heat for about 5 minutes.
  9. Add 1 cutlet.
  10. Reduce the heat to medium fry till golden brown.
  11. Fry the remaining cutlets in the same way.
  12. Cut each bun horizontally into two.
  13. Apply 1/2 tsp of butter on inside of each half of bun and toast them lightly on tava.
  14. Place the lower half of a bun on a clean and dry surface with a buttered spread side facing up and apply 1 tsp of tomato sauce.
  15. Place roundly sliced cucumber and onion.
  16. Spread 1 tbsp of egg less mayonnaise.
  17. Place 1 fried cutlet.
  18. Place once again roundly sliced onion and cucumber.
  19. Lastly cover with an upper half of the bun with the buttered spread facing down.
  20. Now put a toothpick in the middle of a burger to fix it as a whole.
  21. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 3 more burgers and serve these delicious burgers immediately.
