ABOUT Kunafa with cream filling RECIPE

It’s an Arabic sweet, vermicelli dessert with a cream cheese filling.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 pack kunafa dough or vermicelli sevaiya
  2. 100 gm butter
  3. 2 tsp corn flour
  4. 1/2 lt low fat milk
  5. 1 cup sugar
  6. Water for making sugar syrup
  7. Pistachio for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take a pan to prepare cream , and add milk and let it boil. Take cornflour and dissolve it in water without any lumps. Pour the cornflour mixture into the boiling milk and also add 1tsp rose essence and mix well to creamy level
  2. Take another pan and prepare sugar syrup and add tsp rose essence in the sugar syrup
  3. Take the kunafa dough or vermicelli and crush it and mix it with butter
  4. Take a greased tin and place the kunafa layer and press it tightly and set
  5. The next layer is the prepared cream filling place above the kunafa dough layer
  6. And the top layer is again the kunafa dough layer and press it ..
  7. Either u can do it on a gas top if u have kunafa maker or bake it 180 degrees preheat oven for 10 minutes and take out
  8. And flip it upside down and place it in oven for the nxt 10 min
  9. Take out the hot kunafa and garnish it with pistachio and pour the sugar syrup on it
  10. Now enjoy the yummy dessert
