About Dam Bhindi Recipe

Fried ladies fingers in potato fingers.

Dam Bhindi

Ingredients to make Dam Bhindi

  • Ladies fingers 250 gms
  • potato 2
  • tomato pureed 150 gms
  • ginger stick 1 inch
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
  • red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp

How to make Dam Bhindi

  1. Remove head and tail of ladies fingers and slit them. Make potato fingers and fry them.
  2. Add oil in a pan, add cumin, ginger juliennes, pureed tomatoes and fry till oil separates. Add spices, salt and water to cook for 7 to 8 minutes.
  3. Serve hot with rice.
