Eggless Brown Bread Pudding

Ingredients to make Eggless Brown Bread Pudding

  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 tbsp custard powder
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 6-7 brown bread slices
  • Cherry or fruits to garnish
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp jam (any) to brush

How to make Eggless Brown Bread Pudding

  1. Add milk in a sauce pan along with butter, custard powder, milk powder, castor sugar and mix well.
  2. Cook it, till butter and sugar is melted and custard is cooked.
  3. Allow it to come to a boil.
  4. Transfer it into a bowl and add vanilla essence.
  5. Soak bread pieces in the milk.
  6. Fill the bread mixture in buttered ramekins or in a baking dish.
  7. Garnish it with black raisins, cherry or fresh fruits.
  8. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degree celsius for around 25 to 30 minutes.
  9. Let it cool, apply jam with the brush on top of it for extra glaze.
  10. Cut into pieces and pour some custard on it.
  11. Enjoy delicious bread pudding.
My Tip: We can also use dry fruits, seasonal fruits and white bread for pudding.
