ABOUT MURGH MUSALLAM IN MICROWAVE RECIPE

Murgh Musallam is a popular North Indian Chicken dish . It means boiled and fried whole egg and veggies stuff whole chicken . Legend has it that the dish was popular in Royal Courts during Mughal era and it is extremely rich dish and taste amazing with hot Naan or Jeera Rice .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole chicken 800 gm
  2. Cumin powder 1 tablespoons
  3. Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  4. Cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon
  5. Shahi garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoons
  7. Brown onion paste 3 tablespoons
  8. Red chilli paste 1 teaspoon
  9. Chopped veggies 1 cup ( l used 2 tablespoons french been , 2 tablespoons carrots , 2 tablespoons beetroot , 2 tablespoons capsicum and 2 tablespoons bell peppers )
  10. Oil 2 tablespoons
  11. Egg 2 no ( boiled and fried )
  12. Yogurt 1 cup
  13. Ghee 2 tablespoons
  14. Saffron 1 teaspoon
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Honey 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan add all chopped veggies fry well sesaing with salt and pepper keep aside .
  2. Wash and dry the whole chicken .
  3. In a large bowl add curd , cinnamon powder , cumin powder , brown onion paste , ginger garlic paste , saffron , salt , honey and shahi garam masala powder and mix well .
  4. Now add the whole chicken and mix well to sure that the chicken and marinate with a coat and cover the chicken and allow it to 4 hours .
  5. Now stuff the veggies masala and egg into the chicken and stichting carefully with a needle .
  6. Preheat the oven 200℃ for 10 minutes .
  7. Now place the chicken with remaining marinate in oven proof bowl and grease with a ghee .
  8. Now bake the chicken for 30 minutes then grilled for 8 minutes .
  9. Once the chicken is nicely browned and cook properly then ready to serve .
  10. Serve hot and Enjoyyyyyyyyy .
