Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mutton with bone 1/2 kg
  2. Onion 200 gms
  3. Tomato 150 gms
  4. Garlic 1 pod, chopped
  5. Ginger 2 inches, chopped
  6. Green chillies 4, slited
  7. Bay leaf 2
  8. Cumin 1/2 tsp
  9. Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  10. Red chilli 1 tbsp
  11. Garam masala 1 tbsp
  12. Turmeric 1 tsp
  13. Salt as per taste
  14. Curd 4 tbsp
  15. Desi ghee 200 gms

Instructions

  1. In pressure cooker put ghee, add cumin, bay leaf, onions, ginger - garlic, whole garlic, tomatoes and cook on a low flame.
  2. Add meat, salt, spices and cook on low flame. When the water evaporates, add curd and again cook over a low gas.
  3. When oil begins to separate, put the lid on and cook for 40 minutes.
  4. Transfer in an earthen haandi, cover and cook for 5 minutes on sim only. Serve hot with rice.
