Green mango chutney with a twist.

Green Mango Murrabba

Ingredients to make Green Mango Murrabba

  • sugar 200 gms
  • Raw firm green mango big 1
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • Fried masala to be sprinkled on the top
  • jeera 2 tsp
  • Dry red chilli 2

How to make Green Mango Murrabba

  1. Wash, dry and peel the mango. Grate the mango and mix the sugar and salt to the grated mango. Set aside for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Fry the jeera and dry red chilli on a griddle.
  3. Grind the roasted masala and keep aside to use later.
  4. Pour the mango mixture on to a heavy bottomed pan and cook for 10 minutes, keep stirring at regular intervals.
  5. Turn off the gas and sprinkle the roasted masala. Cover with a lid.
  6. Transfer the contents to a small glass jar after it has cooled down.

My Tip:

Can be referigerated for a month also.
