Kacche Aam ki Meethi Chutney

Ingredients to make Kacche Aam ki Meethi Chutney

  • Raw Mango 500 gms
  • Sugar 100 gms
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Elaichi 2
  • Kalmi 1 stick
  • Clove 2
  • Ghee 1 tbsp
  • White Vinegar 1 tsp

How to make Kacche Aam ki Meethi Chutney

  1. Remove the skin on mango. Make small and thin slices. Boil it for 10 minutes. Remove water.
  2. Heat some ghee in a pan, put clove, elaichi and kalmi. When they begin to crackle add in the sugar. After 2 minutes add 1 cup of water.
  3. When the sugar becomes sticky, put in the boil mango into it then add some salt and chilli powder.
  4. Let it cook for a few minutes. Adjust the sugar. Add the vinegar at the end and saute for a few more minutes. Keep aside to cool and serve when required.
