ABOUT Paneer Rockets RECIPE

This is a delicious recipe of snacks, made with paneer.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 500 gms paneer
  2. 1 tblspn cornstarch
  3. 1 tblspn ginger garlic paste
  4. 1/2 tbspn salt
  5. 1/2 tspn black pepper
  6. 1/2 tspn haldi powder
  7. 1 bowl hung curd
  8. 1 1/2 bowl cornflakes crushed
  9. 1 tblspn bread crumbs
  10. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. For marination, take a mixing bowl and add hung curd, cornstarch, black pepper, salt, haldi powder and ginger garlic paste.
  2. Mix it properly and make a fine paste for marination.
  3. Now cut the paneer into thick finger slices and give it a rocket shape.
  4. Now dip the paneer slices into the paste for marination and leave it for 5 mins.
  5. In the meanwhile crush the cornflakes and mix bread crumbs into the crushed cornflakes.
  6. Now take out the marinated paneer slices and coat it in the crushed cornflakes from both the sides.
  7. Now drop it in the heated oil and deep fry them from both the sides.
  8. When gets brown and crisp, remove it from the oil on the absorbent paper to remove the excess oil.
  9. Put them in the skewers and our rocket is ready to take off.
  10. Now serve it hot with ketchup or of your choice dip.
