ABOUT Mutton Kabab RECIPE

My kid's all time favorite kabab. These are perfect for snacks but also tastes yumm with paratha as a meal.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mutton mince - 1/2 kg
  2. Chana dal - 4 tablespoons
  3. Black cardamom - 2
  4. Bay leaves - 2
  5. Dry red chillies - 3-4
  6. Ginger garlic paste - 1 and 1/2 tablespoon
  7. Salt - As per your taste
  8. Water - 1 cup
  9. Onion - 2 big ( finely chopped)
  10. Green chillies - 6-7 (chopped)
  11. Green coriander leaves - 1/2 cup chopped
  12. Red chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
  13. Garam masala - 1/2 tablespoon
  14. Oil - for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash minced mutton carefully and shift it into cooker.
  2. Add chana dal, black cardamom, bay leaves, salt and water.
  3. Cook it on high flame till the first whistle.
  4. After first whistle put the flame on slow and cook it for 10 minutes.
  5. Once cooker will cool down, open it.
  6. Put it again on the flame and cook it on medium flame till water evaporates.
  7. Cool down the mixture then grind it.
  8. Take it out in a bowl, add red chilli powder, garam masala and coriander leaves.
  9. Heat 2 teaspoon oil in a pan.
  10. Add onion and green chillies in the oil.
  11. Saute it till onions become soft. Now transfer it into the mixture.
  12. Mix well. Make roundels like kabab.
  13. Heat oil for frying them.
  14. Shallow fry the kababs.
  15. Serve with paratha, chutney or any sauce.
