Ingredients to make Bengaluru special set dosa served with Sagu, onion & tomato chutney

  • For dosa-1/4 cup poha
  • 3/4 cup urad dal
  • 3 cups boiled rice
  • For Sagu-Mixed veggies- 2 cups
  • One onion
  • Two tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped coconut
  • Khuskhus 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp haldi
  • Red chillie powder
  • curry leaves
  • For chutney-
  • Onion one
  • One tomato
  • Coconut 1/2 cup
  • Red whole chillis 2
  • salt

How to make Bengaluru special set dosa served with Sagu, onion & tomato chutney

  1. Dosa- soak all for 4-5 hrs and grind with soaked poha, ferment for 5-6 hrs add salt n make thick dosas with butter.
  2. Boil veggies, make a paste of the rest of the ingredients in a kadai, add rai, add the paste and saute well, add curry patta, and the veggies, adjust salt, cook on low flame.
  3. For chutney in a tsp oil add sliced onion, tomato whole red chilli n coconut, add salt.Saute well n grind.

My Tip:

While making Sagu can add garam masala powder too, to give a better taste.
