Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 500g chicken
  2. For Marination
  3. 3 tbsp Curd
  4. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  5. Half tsp turmeric
  6. Salt to taste
  7. For gravy
  8. 4 onions thinly sliced
  9. Two tomatoes chopped
  10. two green chillies slit
  11. two sprig curry leaves
  12. 1tbsp ginger garlic paste
  13. 2 tsp coriander powder
  14. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  15. 1 tsp fennel powder
  16. 1 tsp chicken masala or garam masala
  17. 2 Tbsp Coriander leaves
  18. 4 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. MARINATE CHICKEN WITH SALT,CURD TURMERIC AND RED CHILLI POWDER. KEEP IT ASIDE FOR 2 HOURS
  2. HEAT OIL IN EARTHEN VESSEL, ADD ONION, GREEN CHILLIES, LITTLE SALT AND CURRY LEAVES
  3. SAUTE UNTIL ONIONS ARE COMPLETELY SOFT AND LIGHTLY BROWNED
  4. ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTE AND SAUTE UNTIL RAW AROMA GOES AWAY
  5. ADD SPICE POWDERS AND MIX WELL
  6. ADD CHOPPED TOMATOES AND SAUTE UNTIL MUSHY
  7. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES AND MARINATED CHICKEN. MIX WELL
  8. COVER AND COOK , STIRRING OCCASIONALLY UNTIL COOKED. WATER SHOULD COMPLETELY EVAPORATE
  9. ADD 2 TBSP OIL AND FURTHER DRY ROAST OR LEAVE IT SLIGHTLY MOIST
  10. SERVE HOT WITH ROTI OR RICE
