About Curd rice Recipe

South Indian delicacy soothing for summary days.. Kids love it all the time.

Curd rice

Ingredients to make Curd rice

  • 1 cup rice (leftover)
  • 1 cup curd
  • salt to taste
  • For tempering-
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • mustard seeds
  • curry leaves
  • Dry kashmiri red chilly
  • urad dal 1 tsp
  • ginger chilly paste 1 tsp
  • 1 green chilly chopped
  • Chopped coriander

How to make Curd rice

  1. In a big bowl add curd rice and salt to taste and mix well.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds kashmiri chilly urad dal and saute it till brown in color.
  3. Add ginger chilly paste and saute it add green chilly and curry leaves and pour tempering over rice curd mixture and garnish it with fresh chopped coriander.. Enjoy it cool.

My Tip:

Serve it cool.So keep it in fridge for at least 1 hour.
