Quick Vegetable Appe Recipe

Ingredients to make Quick Vegetable Appe Recipe

  • Dosa batter – 1 cup (Homemade or Ready-made)
  • Finely Chopped Onions -1 no
  • Finely Chopped de-seeded Tomatoes - 1 no
  • Finely chopped Red bell pepper - 2 tbsp
  • chili powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for greasing and cooking
  • chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp

How to make Quick Vegetable Appe Recipe

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well except veggies
  2. Now add all chopped veggies along with chopped fresh coriander leaves. Mix well so all the veggies mixed with dosa batter.
  3. Heat the appe pan on a medium flame and grease it with a little oil. Pour a spoonful of the batter into each mould.
  4. Cook till the outer surface becomes golden brown on low flame (approx 30 seconds)and then flip it using a wooden stick or fork so as to cook the other side using a little more oil.
  5. Remove and repeat with the remaining batter to make more appe.
  6. Serve hot with tomato sauce or mayonnaise or coriander chutney..mixed fruit juice or tea as a side accompaniment.

My Tip:

You can add choice of your vegetables in it, but prefer add one type of bell pepper, it gives you better taste !!
