ABOUT Rawa Curd Idli RECIPE

Inspired by nishamadhulika, this is a very healthy and easy recipe to make idlis using semolina.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rawa 1 bowl
  2. Curd 1 bowl
  3. Salt 3/4 teaspoon
  4. Baking soda 3/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl mix rawa and curd very well. Add salt and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile add 1 glass of water in idli steamer . Bring it to boil.
  3. After 15 minutes the batter will become fluffy. Add water if required to get proper consistency of the batter.
  4. Now add baking soda and mix gently in one direction . Do not overmix it.
  5. Grease oil in idli stand. Fill spoonfuls of batter in each mould.
  6. Steam for 12-15 minutes on medium flame. Put the flame off. Remove the idlis from the steamer.
  7. Instant rawa curd idli is ready. Serve it with coconut chutney and sambhar.
