Chatpata Creamy Corn Cups

Ingredients to make Chatpata Creamy Corn Cups

  • 100 gm jaggery
  • 100 ml water
  • 50 gm (3 tbsp) tamarind Pulp
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Black pepper powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp ginger, chopped
  • 150 gm Sweet corn Kernels
  • 50 gm (3 tbsp) Dr. Oetker FunFoods garlic Mayonnaise
  • 75 gm (5 tbsp) Processed Cheese, grated
  • 3-4 Fresh mint Leaves

How to make Chatpata Creamy Corn Cups

  1. Heat a sauce pan (low flame), add the jaggery, water, tamarind pulp, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, black pepper, salt, ginger & sweet corn. Place a lid on the sauce pan and let it cook for 30 minutes.
  2. Add garlic mayonnaise, processed cheese and mint leaves to the above mixture.
  3. Cook the above mixture for 2-3 minutes or till it gets thick.
  4. Serve it hot.

My Tip:

Decorate inner rim of glasses with tamarind pulp before serving.
