JACK FRUIT VERMICELLI SHEERA / KEASRI

Ingredients to make JACK FRUIT VERMICELLI SHEERA / KEASRI

  • Vermicelli - 1 cup
  • Ghee - ¼ cup
  • Jackfruit - 1 cup chopped
  • Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
  • Boiling water - 1 1/2cups
  • Milk - 1 ½ cups
  • Cashew nuts - 10 halved

How to make JACK FRUIT VERMICELLI SHEERA / KEASRI

  1. Heat 2 to 3 tbsps of ghee and fry the vermicelli till golden in colour.
  2. In the mean time keep the hot water and milk ready and add to the vermicelli.
  3. Allow to cook for a five minutes in medium flame and add half of the ghee.
  4. Add the sugar, remaining ghee and the jackfruit pieces and cook till everything blends well.
  5. In another pan heat a little ghee and fry the cashew nuts and add to the Kesari.
  6. Jack fruit vermicelli Sheera is ready to serve.
