ABOUT Coconut Rose Ladoo RECIPE

No added color, no milkmaid, no khoya. Yet very tasty, have a bite you are gona love it. First time i tasted it at my friends residence, it is one of the traditional recipes her mom used to make in every Eid celebration along with Haleem, seviyan, sheer khurma.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dry ingredients :
  2. Coconut powder : 2-1/2 cups
  3. Powdered sugar : 1 cup or to taste
  4. Rose Syrup : 1 cup or as needed
  5. For filling :
  6. Magaj : 2 tbsp
  7. Almond chopped : 2 tbsp
  8. Kishmish : 2 tbsp
  9. Cashewnuts chopped : 2 tbsp
  10. Akhrot / walnuts : 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix all the filling ingredients. Keep aside.
  2. In a big bowl mix coconut powder, sugar powder & rose syrup. Mix well and start binding. (If needed add more rose syrup.) When the mixture starts to bind take a small ball from the mixture & stuff it with the filling. Make a smooth ball.
  3. Arrange all the coconut rose ladoo in the plate & keep in the fridge for 1 hr.
  4. Ready to serve.
