Vada

Ingredients to make Vada

  • Skinless urad dal - 1 cup
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • hing - a pinch
  • oil for frying

How to make Vada

  1. Soak dal for 6 hours.
  2. Drain water and make paste of it by adding small amount of water.
  3. Then add salt and hing, mix well with hand for 5 minutes in one direction, this will make it fluffy.
  4. Then wet your hand with water. Take small part of batter make ball shape, press it and make a hole at the centre.
  5. Put in oil and fry it till golden brown.
