Take ghee and rava in a pan, and roast on medium flame while stirring constantly.
Keep the roasted rava aside.
In the pan add milk, water and sugar, and bring it to a boil.
Add saffron and mix well (food colour can be used).
Add the roasted rava and keep stirring to avoid lumps.
Cook the mixture while stirring continuously till water is absorbed.
Garnish with dry fruits.
